MIDCENTURY – BACK TO THE ROOTS
The existing building dates back to the end of the 50s. The time of origin is still clearly visible on the facade as well as on some details in the interior.
In order to create a coherent whole, a concept was developed for the interior design that returns to the origin of the building. The new design concept is based on the mid-century style, which has been freely implemented in a contemporary way and incorporates current approaches.
For the ninety-four guest rooms two color concepts were developed, which are implemented floor by floor on the six upper levels, supplemented by a continuous, connecting floor covering.
The furnishing concept of the guest rooms has been designed modularly in order to be able to adapt it for the eleven very different room types.
The public area on the ground floor is more restrained in color than the upper levels and pays homage to the furniture classics of the era, represented by new furniture designs.
