Tradition in contemporary garb

The redesign of the rooms of the Mercure Hotel München City was influenced by Bavarian tradition, which is the central theme for the design concept of the whole hotel. This rich repository was utilized in many ways.

Using different motives, ranging from traditional costumes as inspirations for wall and floor graphics, details of embroidery and cross-stitch patterns, to the choice of hearty furniture and rough structured fabrics with folkloristic charm, the Bavarian way of life, its connected coziness and characteristic appeal is being made explorable to all guests.
